Sales Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Learn and understand the product features, function and applications related to the various industry requirements.
2.Understanding the specifications & ability to read engineering drawings.
3.Preparing the compliance statement
4.Identifying and establishing contact with potential customers, consultants and contractors
5.Educate consultants and specifiers and direct end-users on the products specification and application along with the service offering.
6.Proactively generating new business opportunities by regularly meeting new leads in the market.
7.Maintaining good relation with existing customers and generating opportunities for maintenance contracts, replacement sales & upgradations. Monthly one visit to key accounts is a must.
8.Meeting annual sales goals and targets.
9.Preparation of calculation, sales offer, obtaining price request.
10.Payment follow ups
11.Designing and delivering product presentations based on the necessities and competitive sales condition.
12.Making the right offer with regard to the specification offered, delivery time and payment terms.
13.Active support to existing customers and generating service business & maintenance contracts.
14.Providing support in payment collection whenever necessary.
15.Meeting the monthly and yearly targets
16.Updating the sales forecast on daily basis

Requirements
1.Professional: Engineering/Technical background in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
2.Computer skills: Well versed with power point, word, excel, Outlook. AUTO CADD knowledge is desirable
3.Experience 3-¬5 years relevant experience in selling engineering products, service contracts and customized solutions in the Construction & end user Sector.
4.Knowledge of Architects & Engineering Consultants, End users & Contractors in UAE market and good contacts.
5.Industry knowledge and trends.
6.Self-motivated and flexible and independent.
7.Ambitious and result oriented.
8.Ability to sell the right solution based on the customer needs and wants.
9.Ability to prepare and present solutions via power points demonstration confidence in offering the right solution.
10.Well-disciplined with good time management skills and setting out priorities.
11.Strong negotiation and sales aptitude to deal with customers of different ethnic background.
