Joinery Production Supervisor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Planning, coordination and control of our manufacturing processes.
2.Ensuring that goods and services are produced efficiently
3.Involved in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage
4.Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
5.Ensuring that the production is cost effective
6.Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
7.Working out the human and material resources needed
8.Drafting a timescale for the job
9.Estimating costs and preparing quotations
10.Cross check that goods match the specifications
11.Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
12.Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
13.Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
14.Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, delivery etc.
15.Grow the company and team
16.Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
17.Supervising and motivating a team of workers
18.Reviewing the performance of subordinates
19.Identifying training needs
20.Monitor stock levels, inventory and update all data in the system
21.Prepare production status reports
22.Keep records of time and materials used for each project
